Q. Why a bellow coupling is used?

A bellow coupling remains stiff in the rotational axis yet provides a flexible connection between two rotating shafts which are slightly misaligned in the angular parallel and axial planes. It offers better torsional rigidity to transmit torque rotational motion or both.
