Q. Where should the bathroom rack be placed?

Towel racks holders and accessories should all be positioned within easy reach of each sink and bathtub. The most practical placement for a bar is along the bathroom's longest wall which should ideally be as wide as it is tall. Towel bars are usually mounted 42–48 inches from the ground. Towel bars and a top shelf as found in hotel-style towel racks should be hung at a height of 48 inches or more from the floor. The ideal placement for robe or towel hooks is 70 inches from the ground. When using more than one hook leave at least 9 inches between them.
