Q. Whats the differnce between drill or hammer machine?
Answer
The only noticeable difference is that one is termed a hammer drill or more accurately a hammer drill driver. It's true that many appear similar but upon closer inspection notice that they each have their own unique hammering mechanism within. Most hammer drills are modified drill drivers that have had a hammer mechanism added to the back of the chuck. It often extends the overall length by a little amount and adds a few ounces to the total weight. If compare the two might not be able to identify which is which.
