Q. What makes HSFG different from regular bolts?
Answer
Regular bolts can be reused while HSFG bolts cannot. The difference between HSFG bolts and regular bolts is that the former are made of high-strength steel during production while the latter just requires fastening. Normal bolts' screw holes are tiny in comparison to those of HSFG bolts but otherwise they're the same in size. High-strength friction grip bolts are utilized in structural steelwork. It takes fewer bolts to achieve the same level of strength as rivets. Wrenches are used to tighten bolts so there is no bothersome rattling or grinding while the bolts are secured.
