Q. What is the main difference between C channel and U channel?

Both are mild steel channels. However there exists a little difference in the form of these two types. C channel has parallel flanges while U channel has tapered flanges. Both of them have different standards to exhibit the channel dimensions. UPN is for U channel and UPE is for C channel. The inside radius of the curve is slightly different for both these types.
