Q. What is the drying time for polyurethane sealant?
Answer
Polyurethane sealant takes roughly 30 days to fully dry but dries in 24 to 48 hours. The solvent for polyurethane varnish is poured or brushed onto the wood. Polyurethane resin in the form of varnish is left on the wood when the oil or water in which it was dissolved evaporates. It can be simply disinfected with water and won't fade with time. Water-based polyurethane varnish may not hold up well in heavily trafficked areas.
