Q. What is the difference between square bar and round bar?

The principal difference between square bar and round bar is that the round bars have circular or round cross-section while the square bars have square ends. Both types of bars may have same technical specifications except for the shape. Their shapes however make them suitable for specific types of applications. For example for fabricating hand rail of grills for staircase round bars are preferred over square bar.
