Q. What is the difference between nitrile and latex gloves?
Answer
Nitirle gloves are thicker and stronger than latex gloves. The former has good puncture resistance while the latter can be more easily punctured or teared. Latex is natural rubber obtained from the sap of tree trunk. While nitrile is synthetic rubber derived from acrylonitrile and butadiene through chemical processing. Nitrile is produced synthetically for applications where latex is not considered suitable. Therefore it can be inferred that nitrile gloves are better and stronger alternative to latex gloves.
