Q. What is the difference between a switch fuse unit and a fuse switch unit?
Answer
While fuses are immovable in a switch-fuse unit in a fuse-switch unit they are attached to the movable arm of the switch and are therefore removed from the circuit when the switch is isolated. The fuses for this switch are installed after the blades. Fuse for a light switch; they are often attached to the switch's lever. A fuse can only protect against overcurrent but a fuse switch disconnector may make carry and break the circuit. By flipping the isolator switch to the off position the fuse bearers are cut off from the line and the load. Both the switch and the fuse(s) are normally housed in the same enclosure.
