To properly clean the cover of your toothpaste dispenser just peel it off and wash it down with a towel that has been dampened with water. If the tube of toothpaste has been stored in the dispenser for a significant length of time there is a good likelihood that it has solidified in which case the dispenser would need to be cleaned. To do this just pull the pump out of the main unit and remove the front cover from the main unit. The pump should then be flushed with warm water and after that it should be allowed to dry naturally. One wet slide to go back to the main unit then reattach the cove.
