Q. What is RO pump?
Answer
Through a procedure known as reverse osmosis (RO) contaminants and wastes that have made their way into water are removed. By applying pressure greater than the osmotic pressure of the water a reverse osmosis device can push liquid through a semi-permeable membrane. The system employs a high-pressure RO pump to generate the necessary force. As a result the membrane functions as a porous sheet barrier allowing only pure water to pass through while rejecting bigger molecules like dissolved salts minerals germs and other particles. Most importantly reverse osmosis pumps need to be able to generate pressures higher than those generated by nature.
