The British Thermal Unit (BTU) meter measures the amount of energy (heat) required to heat one pound (P) of water by 1 degree Fahrenheit (F) at a constant pressure. Used along with a flow meter temperature sensor and the main connection unit it integrates cooling or heat consumptions.
