Q. What is better LED or halogen lights?
Answer
LED headlights consume less energy last longer and have a much whiter hue than halogen headlights which are normally yellowish in color. In addition LED headlights cast a pattern that is typically broader than that of halogen headlights. When an electric current flows through a semiconductor also known as a diode LEDs are able to create light that is more luminous while also producing less heat. Because LEDs are more compact than traditional light bulbs they provide greater flexibility in terms of design when applied to headlights and other vehicle lighting. The negative is that they are more expensive than high-intensity discharge headlights or halogen headlights which commonly employ xenon gas. Halogen lamps are also available.
