A flared skirt is quite comparable to the A-line skirt with the exception that it flares out far more. It rounds out as it descends and surrounds your bottom. Wear a fitting top when wearing a flared skirt to avoid creating a very broad silhouette. A flared skirt is one that to put it simply points outwards at the bottom rather than more straightly or inwardly (as with a tulip skirt). Together with circle and the majority of pleated skirts a-line flared skirts are frequently worn. (Typically anything that grows bigger from top to bottom tends to be i.e. creating a capital "A".
