Q. What are the uses of nitric acid?
Answer
Nitric acid is used for production of explosives fertilizers nylon precursors; for oxidizing metals cleaning silicon wafers pickling stainless steel and etching in printmaking. It is used in woodworking and to purify gold when used in combination with HCL acid.
