After the oil has been extracted from mustard seed using power-driven equipment the product that is produced is an oil cake of a quality that is somewhere between excellent and fair. Mustard seed oil is often extracted using a device called a Kolhu or Ghani which is propelled by animals. The final result of this process is called a Ghani oil cake.
