Q. Is cat cable worth it?

Cat cables are specially devised Ethernet cables that are used for various applications including internet connection and network connectivity for LAN WAN or HAN. ‘CAT’ in these cables stands for the short form of the word Category. There are many types of Cat cables and each differs from the others depending on connectivity features cables speed etc. The higher you go up in the CAT chain these cables will be more sophisticated and functional than ones at a lower range like CAT 3. A CAT cable is totally worth the investment however the matching of the cable with the application must be done prior to selecting the cable. Buying a higher CAT cable like CAT 08 just to connect with a home router would be overkill as the same can be achieved by a CAT 5 cable.
