Q. How valuable are security doors?

Installing a security door in your house provides an additional layer of protection making it more difficult for burglars to get inside. Burglars are scoping out the houses on the street to see which one offers the least resistance to entry. When they come across a security door it immediately acts as a deterrent for them since the amount of time and effort required to break through the door will raise the odds that they will be caught. In addition a burglar may presume that the homeowner has taken more precautions to protect the property since they have installed a security door.
