An ultrasonic transducer is made of one or more active element i.e, piezoelectric vibrator or single-crystal material to change electrical energy into ultrasound waves, a backing used to monitor & control transducer crystal’s vibrations, and wear plate to protect piezoelectric transducer element from corrosion and wear.
