Q. How to use a formalin chamber?
Answer
Containers with a tight fit are recommended for use with tablets. These include plastic bags, catheter boxes, heinemann cabinets, and instrument cabinets. Five hours of exposure is the bare minimum and 10 tablets per cubic meter of space are required. Furthermore, for cold sterilization, 10 tablets per cubic meter are needed; however, the exposure time for this method varies from 15 to 24 hours. This procedure (which should be viewed as a last resort) should be used only if conventional sterilization methods are ineffective. Formatab Formalin Tablets and Paraformaldehyde Tablets require a minimum relative humidity of 80% in all devices where they are utilized.
