Q. How to know if my LED is 8mm LED?
Answer
All surface mounted diodes or SMDs or LED chips are recognised by a four-digit identifier. This code merely shows the size of a LED chip which makes it simpler than it first appears. For instance the SMDs of 5050 Leds light are 5.0mm by 5.0mm in size
