First of all health care professionals should wash their hands with soap and water before putting on the face mask. They can also use alcohol-based sanitizer if soap and water are not available. After cleaning their hands they should place the face mask over their nose and mouth and leave no gaps between the face mask and face in addition to it being tight seal. All through they should try to avoid touching the face mask.
