Answer

LED lights convert almost 95% of electrical energy into light, the rest 5% is converted into heat. In comparison, an incandescent light could consume 90% of the electrical energy for releasing heat. Which means the latter was resulting in high energy consumption and ultimately generation of electricity bills than the former.
