Q. How many curtain rod brackets will I need?

A curtain rod bracket is used to place the curtain poles on which the drapes are hung. Normally curtains are used on windows doors or any part of the house that needs to be sectioned off. Given that the standard width of a door or window is 5 feet two curtain rod brackets are sufficient for each drape. However it must be borne in mind that the drapes or curtain also carry weight and the selection of the curtain bracket should be done so that it can handle the weight of the rod as well as the drapes. Generally any length greater than 5 ft must have an additional curtain road bracket to ensure better support.
