Answer
Yeast is a fungus with 1500 recognized species. Saccharomyces cerevisiae – the baker’s yeast is produced by fermentation of carbohydrates that converts it to alcohol & CO2. Marine yeasts produce amino acids enzymes vitamins etc. with vast application.
