A HVAC packaged unit is an all-in-one system that is placed outdoor and delivers heated, cooled air in various rooms of a building through ductworks. In the other hand, a split air conditioner consists of two units –an indoor and an outdoor unit. While a packaged unit is ideal for smaller homes, split AC is best for larger homes.
