Q. How hot-dipped galvanized bolts are made?

Answer

Prepared bolts are dipped in a bath of molten zinc at a high temperature of approx. 449 °C (840 °F). When exposed to ambient, coated zinc reacts with oxygen & then carbon dioxide to form zinc carbonate which protects the bolts from corrosion & weather.
