Gold plating is the technique of depositing a thin layer on a metal’s surface. In most of the cases silver is used for gold plating for making jhumkas. However this can be done on other metals as well depending on the application requirements. Gold Jhumkas on the other hand is made of pure gold without any mixture of other metals.
