Q. How does the RFID boom barrier function?

Answer

The boom barrier at the community's entrance is equipped with an RFID reader tag. After the boom barrier's RFID reader tag detects a vehicle approaching the community's entrance the barrier lifts to let the vehicle in. To begin parking in the community all resident cars must first register with the management committee and get an RFID badge. If a car approaches the boom barrier and it doesn't have a valid registration it won't get through. There is a recurrent expense associated with keeping track of the RFID tags installed in each vehicle. New tags need to be created and distributed whenever a new member joins the society and old tags need to be deactivated whenever a member leaves.
