Q. How do wireless cameras function?
Answer
Wireless cameras are able to send video recordings using a radio frequency (RF) transmitter. In this scenario the video is transmitted to a receiver with either an internal storage device or cloud storage where it can be accessed later. The images and videos a user has stored can be quickly accessed through the screen or receiver. Wired security camera systems have one big flaw regardless of whether they are used indoors or outdoors: the presence of the wires themselves might notify attackers that a surveillance system is in place and the intruders may choose to cut the lines rather than risk being caught.
