Q. How do digital weight indicators work?
Answer
Digital weight indicators work with a strain gauge load cell. When weight (force) is applied the strain gauge deforms which results in changes in its electrical resistance that can be measured as voltage. The voltage is sent to a weight indicator via a cable to give a digital output. For example 7.5 Kg weight.
