Q. How do digital load cells work?
Answer
When a mechanical force is applied on strain gauge digital load cells, the wire within changes its shapes from thinner to thicker and vice-versa which prompts changes in electrical resistance; and these changes are converted into electrical output signals in binary format. The numbers is displayed on a computer connected to it via a cable.
