Q. How are jaw couplings made?
Answer
Jaw couplings have both metallic and elastomeric parts. The two hubs are made of stainless steel, ductile iron, bronze, aluminum or sintered metal, and the spider (elastomer cushion element) is made of nitrile rubber (NBR), polyurethane (PU), or thermoplastic polyester elastomer (TPE).
