Antiseptics are more for substrata of the skin for preventing the spread of microorganisms and not deep skin use. It is mainly used externally. However, antibiotics can be administered intramuscularly, intravenously, orally or applied to skin in the form of a cream. Antibiotic creams can be applied to deep wounds unlike antiseptics.
