Use printable vinyl and if possible inks with UV protection to reduce the likelihood of fading. Use a thermal laminator or a self-adhesive laminating sheet (with UV protection) to ensure the complete coating of the sticker. Vinyl car decals placed on the vehicle's doors are more resistant to fading than those placed on the hood or roof which are directly exposed to the sun and may be subjected to rain moisture and road pollution. The environment in which the place the vinyl stickers can have a significant impact on how long they last.
