Q. Can we increase the CNG cylinder capacity?
Answer
Actually you can increase the CNG cylinder capacity. However there is a catch. Cng cylinders are usually designed to keep a maximum threshold pressure it can tolerate and the mass in kilograms. Suppose a 20kg CNG cylinder can store 60 liters at 200 bar then one can increase the volumetric storage by increasing the pressure. However the pressure threshold limit must not be crossed as it will be dangerous.
