Q. Can a digital microscope help me see blood cells?
Answer
The width of blood cells ranges from 5 to 15 micrometres (a micron is equal to 1/1000 of a metre). On the 1mm instrument, the shape of red blood cells may be seen quite clearly, and with the help of digital zoom and staining, it's possible that you'll even be able to discern some structure in the bigger white cells.
