Q. Are submersible pumps and centrifugal pumps the same thing?
Answer
Both centrifugal pumps and submersible pumps use centrifugal force to move water. Submersible pumps can be left submerged in a pond tank or similar container. Centrifugal pumps cannot be submerged due to their construction. Because of this we have to keep them away from any body of water.
