Answer

In terms of strength and abrasion resistance it is superior to copper but inferior to steel. In addition to this it is unaffected by low temperatures and does not become brittle as mild steel does. Brass is also good for the environment because it may be recycled without altering the attributes that made it valuable in the first place.
