In a way it can be said that both bracelet and wrist bands are same because they are worn or tied to the wrists. But they are very different because of the purpose they serve. Wrist band is a common terminology given to anything worn on the wrists that denote some significance or a type of memberships. For example people visiting an amusement park are given wrist bands to enter the gates. So that wrist bands becomes a genuine entry pass. However bracelet is an ornament worn for enhancing personal look.
