Both types of sanitizers are functionally same as they are used to sterilize and disinfect. However, technically, they are different in terms of usage pattern. Air Sanitizer is manufactured in spray form and is used to disinfect air from microbes. Whereas hand sanitizer is only used for the purpose of sanitizing hands by rubbing the lotion or liquid on the hands. Hand sanitizers are also used for cleaning hands from dirt.
