M/s Pragati Concrete Udyog (PCU) was established in 1982. The unit was an addition to the first unit of Durgesh Hume Pipe at Najafgarh, Delhi after acquiring expertise in RCC pipes manufacturing.

Today, the firm has a well spread out and wide network of over five factories in India for manufacturing and supplying of RCC Pipe, RCC Concrete Pipes, RCC Cement Pipes. The firm has earned a reputation for excellence through stringent quality control measure, timely execution and continuous research and development. As a result the firm's products have found acceptance in highly competitive markets. The firm's expertise is at work right from designing of custom made pipes to the firm's total engineering packages for all kinds of pipeline projects in Drainage, Road, Telecom, Sewer & Power Cable Systems.
