Incense Sticks are known as Agarbatti in India. This is also known as joss sticks. So, as the name suggests, this is manufactured in stick form with a paste moulded around a bamboo stick. The major ingredient of the paste charcoal powder or jiggit powder, which is an adhesive extracted from the bark of litsea glutinosa. Perfume is added to the paste to get different kinds of aroma.
