Destoner Machineis used by the rice mills for removing the impurities, such as gravel, stones,
small chunks of soil, and other unwanted elements from paddy, coffee beans,
rice, wheat, pulses and other types of cereals. These machines use a series of
web or mesh to remove the stones and soil particles. In such machines, a
boulder box is equipped to collect the pieces of stones. The central part or
the core table surface contains a wire-mesh sieve which is attached to the
vibrator. The vibrator oscillates in to and fro motion to separate the stone or
dry gravel parts from the food grains. The stones are then separated in the
boulder-box and which is later expelled out from the machine.
A Destoner
Machine consists of many different parts, such as feeder hopper, a vibratory motor,
a machine supporter aspirating hood, a sieve box, an eccentric driving
mechanism, electrical operating panel and other parts. The food grains are fed
through feeder hopper and passed on to the sieve for separating the impurities.
The size of the sieve mesh is dynamic and can be adjusted according to the size
of stones. When the sieve oscillates it used the vibration to separate the
lighter weight materials from the heavier using the principle of gravity. It is
a 100% efficient machine that removes all kinds of impurities from food grains.
