Monsoon-Exterior Weather Guard Emulsion: DESCRIPTION: Normal exterior emulsions cannot protect exterior walls from patches of sogginess, algae, and fungus caused by rain. Monsoon Weather Guard Emulsion is especially formulated to give long lasting protection and beautiful looks with excellent color retention for years to come. Elastic Latex film covers hairline cracks Water resistant paint film protects from dampness Special paint preservatives fight algae and fungus Latex enriched formula gives a long lasting glow to your exterior walls SURFACE PREPARATION: Ensure surface is thoroughly clean, dry and free from all loose dirt, chalk, grease, fungi, algae and flaking paint. This can be achieved by brushing with a wire/ stiff coir brush, followed by water jetting if required. Fill up all minor cracks and defects with cement and sand mixture in the ratio 1:3. Avoid application of putty or filling compound while painting an exterior surface PRIMING: Application of putty is not recommended. In case of freshly plastered walls, apply one self- priming coat or one coat of Season Exterior cement Primer after thinning with water in the ratio of 1:1 by volume. For best performance self priming is recommended. FINISHING: Apply, two coats of Monsoon- Weather Guard for normal surfaces, with 3-5 hours between coats. 3 coats may be required in case of darker colors. For horizontal surface, minimum 3 coats is recommended for best performance
