Our company is interested in the manufacturing and supplying a marvelous quality of HSS Gear Shaper Cutters in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

Various forms of Shaper cutters such as non topping, semi topping, finishing, preshaving or pregrinding, with or without protuberance, etc., are manufactured. Both spur type and helical type Gear Shaping cutters are made. Designing & production of relief ground shaping cutters for involute splines, worms (cutter to be used in hobbing machine by kinematic inversion process) and relief machined cutters for sprocket, parallel sided splines etc., are done. The range of Shaping cutters available includes different varieties of disc type, hub type and shank type. Tandem Shaping cutters are also supplied.

Shaper cutter material is generally M35 (6-5-2+5% Co.). On special request, Shapers in powder material (ASP 30) and Tin coated Shapers are supplied.

Normally, accuracy classes are as per DIN 1829 standards, AA, A. However, Shaper cutters are also made to suit other accuracy standards. With the latest CNC profile grinder installed in the plant it is possible to through grind shaping cutters with high pressure angle and more number of teeth. Further, Grinding wheel profile details are calculated with IBM-PC to grind semi-topping, protuberance, profile crowning, tip radius and outside diameter.
