Washable G.p. Plastic Emulsion Paint

TECHNICAL DATA SHEET 1 PRODUCT PEACOCK G.P. PLASTIC EMULSION PAINT 2 Type Based on Stryrene Acrylic emulsion and good quality pigments. It contains an unsaponifiable binder and hence is completely washable and durable 3 Purpose Its Economic and is quick drying, odourless, durable and non-saponifiable product. 4 Properties   (a) Specific gravity 1.35 3% (b) Viscosity Thick & Viscous (c) Colour Available in white and shades as per the requirement of customers. All shades are intermixable. (d) Drying time Surface dry within 30 minutes     hard dry after 3-4 hours (e) Finish Smooth, eggshell matt free from sagging & brush Mark (f) Flexibility & adhesion Good, washable with wet cloth after 7 days. 5 Spreading rate (Theoretical) 12-15 Sq. Mts./litre per coat (varies according to porosity and type of surface) 6 Shelf life  Over 12 months 7 Remark      A Old plaster work: Remove by scrapping old paint, lime wash & loose flakes. Clean the wall with water and apply Ist thin coat of Peacock Plastic emulsion paint by thinning it in the ration of 1:1 with water.Then apply 3 coats of Peacock Plastic emulsion paint for a pleasing durable finish.   B New plaster work: New plaster should be allowed to dry for atleast 12 weeks before application of finish product.   C Overcoating of Peacock Plastic emulsion paint should be carried out at a minimum interval of 4 hours between two successive coats.   D Oil or oil based paints should be avoided for putty work instead it should be carried out by mixing Peacock Plastic emulsion paint with whiting or gypsum.   E All loose material fungus etc. should be removed and surface be well prepared before applying plastic paint.   F Clean all brushes & tools with water & soap immediately. Paint splashes etc. must be removed with wet cloth before they dry.   G Painting it in cold closed room and application at temperatures below 5C should be avoided.   H Peacock G.P.Plastic emulsion paint can be tinted to any desired shade with aquauniversal tinters. It can be mixed with silk acrylic (100%) paint.
