The a MICROa helical gear units use hardened, high graded alloy steel helical gears immersed completely in oil. The housing could be made either of steel or graded cast iron. These gearboxes are designed to meet long service life without any special maintenance. All gearboxes conform to international standards. The gear reduction efficiency obtained is over 95% per reduction. Computer aided design is adopted for obtaining compact and robust gearboxes with required factor of safety.

Single stage, Two stage and Three stage Horizontal gear units are recommended for Hoist, Long Travel drive and cross travel drives of the EOT crane.
