Stretch Pants

Here are the types:

• Cotton/poly Blends: A cotton/poly blend denim, which is what I've found to be the least stretchy and most rigid variety, is my least favorite. When I say "denim," I have in mind a cotton/polyester blend, not a pair of ultra-stretchy jeans made entirely of polyester, which can be irritating to the skin.

• Super Stretch/Jegging Pants: A wearer does have to be cautious when wearing the ubiquitous and timeless Jeggings or Super Stretch Jean.

• The Jogg jean is truly unique. It all comes down to construction quality, wash options, styles, and, of course, feel. When you see a pair, even up close, they appear to be regular old denim.

Leggings and stretch pants are the same thing. Since leggings are typically associated with women's attire, men often substitute the word "stretch pants" for this style of clothing. The word "stretch trousers" is used to describe bottoms that are opaque, have a thicker fabric, are stretchy, and wick away sweat, and may be used for a variety of athletic activities, including but not limited to running, pilates, and the gym. In contrast, leggings are commonly worn under clothing for added warmth or coziness. At a fraction of the cost of name-brand alternatives, they are just as comfortable and convenient.

Here are some guidelines:

• It's possible to check the percentage of stretch material before purchasing a pair of stretchy pants or a pair of stretchy shorts.

• After doing some research, a wearer may find that the search for flexible jeans may cost a wearer a bit more money than he/she had anticipated. 

• The stretchy varieties are more likely to get damaged since they contain elastane (also known as Spandex or Lycra).

• It shouldn't tear or split when stretched, and it's a major red flag if a wearer can feel or hear the threads coming undone at the seams.
