Working Principle :
These have a water heater collector that is constructed from an evacuated vacuum tube system or flat panel collector system. When sunlight falls on the heater, the resulting solar radiation heats up the water present owing to the enhanced transmittance of the covering glass medium
The heated water then rises in the various tubes eventually reaching the tank
The colder and denser water present in the insulated tank descends into the tubes getting heated next. This same process is repeated again and again.
Segmentation of Stainless Steel Solar Power Heater :
Close Coupled – The distinguishing feature of this design is that the water storage tank is horizontally mounted above the solar collectors on the roof. Benefit of this type of heater; no pumping is required.
Pump Circulated – The fundamental feature of this design is that the storage tank is ground or floor mounted below the collectors. A circulating pump is needed to move water continuously between the tank and water collectors.
